Equine Vitamin E Supplement

Liquid E 50 is a high strength liquid equine Vitamin E supplement formulated for all horses, especially those not on fresh pasture.  Recommended minimum trial period is at least two to four weeks of consistent use.

Vitamin E is an antioxidant found in high levels in fresh pasture, but it begins to degrade the moment pasture is cut for hay.  Liquid E 50 can provide support for horses that don’t have regular access to fresh vegetation.

First and foremost an antioxidant, Vitamin E keeps damaging free radicals from forming and potentially weakening cells and tissues.  In addition to its antioxidant properties, Vitamin E is vital to immune, cardiovascular, circulatory, neuromuscular, and reproductive functions.

Vitamin E plays an indispensable role in protecting the lipid membranes of cells and cell structures from damage caused by free radicals.

  • Vitamin E becomes incorporated directly into the structure of the cell membranes.
  • The nervous system is the most susceptible to inadequate vitamin E, followed by muscle and fat.
  • Poorly defined gait and muscular issues sometimes respond to vitamin E supplementation.
  • Vitamin E also supports immune cells while they are working to destroy invading organisms.

Supplementation with Liquid E 50 is recommended for all horses that do not consume a significant quantity of green pasture.
